Miller Knight were appointed to carry out the structural and passive fire protection works to the Travelodge hotel in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

The exisiting Robin Hood Hotel in Lombard Street was derelict until the end of 2019 when work began to transform it into the 66-bed hotel it is now.

It had been empty for 18 years, with the council investing £3.3m to transform the site, hoping to increase visitor numbers to the district along with town centre footfall.
