Miller Knight were appointed to carry out the passive fire protection works at the Blue Light Hub Facility in Milton Keynes for Kingerlee.
The £14m scheme comprises a three-storey complex, housing Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, South Central Ambulance Service’s Milton Keynes frontline 999 emergency and non-emergency patient transport and Thames Valley Police’s neighbourhood police team.
Our fire stopping works were installed through all 3 levels (Ground, 1st and 2nd) of the hub. We also
installed a 60 minute fire barrier to a separate electrical intake and plant room.
