Introduction

Telent Technology Services is a leading technology company and specialist in the design, build, support and management of the UK’s critical digital infrastructure.

We were requested by Telent to prepare a works proposal for the remodelling of their main Distribution Facility in Chorley.

Service Provided

Miller Knight were appointed as Principal Contractor on the scheme.  We carried out a phased programme of works, ensuring mininal disruption whilst the facility remained fully operational. Scope of works included:

• Asbestos Remediation
• Demolition & Strip Out
• Mechanical & Electrical Installations
• Resin Floor Coatings
• Internal Partitions & Door Sets
• Decoration
• Racking & Shelving Installation

Project Outcomes

A transformation of the existing Distribution Hub with key features including new resin floor coatings, racking and shelving, and energy efficient LED lighting. The additional warehouse space now offers in excess of 2600 pallet locations and 5000 shelving locations.
